Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant to join our team. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Education: High School graduate with previous institutional dietary service experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments.
- Teamwork: Show a willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Physical Abilities: Numerical accountability necessary for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals, as well as good motor coordination and manual dexterity required for various work routines.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including during emergency situations, and be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.
