About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to ensure the smooth operation of our plasma collection center. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate donor eligibility based on standard operating procedures and ensure that all donors meet the necessary criteria.
- Perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures while maintaining strict adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to any machine alarms or alerts in a timely manner.
- Monitor donor conditions and employ techniques to ensure donor comfort, safety, and the quality of plasma product.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of donor information, test results, and production data.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Two years of experience in a related field, such as medical technology or laboratory science, preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with donors, colleagues, and management required.
Schedule:
Must be able to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
