As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing timely and compassionate care to patients with emergency and life-threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages presenting for emergency care.
- Document pertinent nursing notes to reflect changes in condition, transfer, and discharge.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Coordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic.
- Manage care with primary ED attending.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
