6:30am-3:00pm

Supply Chain Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Assist VAS Supervisors and clerical staff by managing order writing, bill of lading preparation, truck check-ins, phone communications, customer interactions, data entry, and record maintenance. This role requires the ability to lead, coordinate, and prioritize tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Operations Manager and the Lincoln location under direct supervision.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound truck deliveries.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Production staff regarding product status.
  • Accurately track product inventory levels.
  • Assist with record maintenance and filing tasks.
  • Ensure accurate scanning of inventory for inbound and outbound VAS.
  • Properly create picks with zero errors.
  • Close out weekly operations on Mondays.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality in this hourly role.
  • Handle minor tasks related to the responsibilities of the position.
Supply Chain Operations Specialist Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in customer service or order entry roles is preferred.
  • A high degree of professionalism is essential.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel; experience with Access is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform responsibilities accurately and within deadlines.
  • Capability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
  • Cooperative attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Pleasant phone demeanor that conveys responsiveness and sincerity.

Supply Chain Operations Specialist Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position is primarily static, with occasional standing required. The ability to perform repetitive bending and walking is necessary, along with the capability to lift 10-35 lbs. occasionally.

This role is office-based and may occasionally involve working in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (typically around 38°F) within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production facility. Candidates must be able to tolerate cold temperatures for the duration of their shift when necessary.
