Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinisher to join our team at NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS LLC. As an Automotive Refinisher, you will be responsible for refinishing vehicles to meet pre-accident condition or industry standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine damaged vehicles and estimate the cost of repairs, reporting any hidden damage to the supervisor immediately.
  • Keep the work area safe and clean, following all safety measures for personal and environmental safety.
  • Maintain all body shop equipment in good working condition, ensuring it is safe and efficient.
  • Check body repairs before primer is applied, maintaining a level of quality to industry standards.
  • Keep repaints to a minimum, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Clean paint areas and tools, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain proper stocking levels of paint and materials, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Color match and mix paint, ensuring accurate and consistent results.
  • Communicate with the production manager to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Alert the production manager to any unusual problems or delays.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience in a similar position.
  • Current and valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and operating manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Work Environment

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and physical demands.
