We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at SpartanNash. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, while providing patients with clear instructions and counseling on medication use.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to identify potential medication interactions and ensure safe treatment plans.
- Order and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical stock, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
- Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Three years of experience in a pharmaceutical department, with a strong background in medication management and patient care.
- Pharmacy License in good standing, with immunization certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, pharmacy laws, and industry guidelines.
