Job Summary

Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for procedures, including setting up equipment and sterilizing instruments
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a sterile field and handling instruments
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
