Job Title: Registered Rad Tech - Milford

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in Milford. As a Registered Rad Tech, you will be responsible for performing general radiography procedures, preparing procedure rooms, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare procedure rooms and patients for all studies, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Educate patients on procedures, obtain patient history, and verify patient information.
  • Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols, positioning patients and selecting appropriate equipment.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort, notifying radiologists of any reactions or problems.
  • Review images and ensure quality, sending them to the PACS System as needed.
  • Run pending work reports daily, tracking errors and reporting on PI reports.
  • Maintain adequate supplies, stocking rooms and reporting low levels to designated personnel.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist, Radiography Medical Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • New Graduate with less than 1 year of experience.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, all shifts available. Normal position urgency. Diagnostic Imaging specialty with Radiologic Technologist sub-specialty.
