Professor of Mathematics

Job Summary:
The Central Texas College is seeking a highly qualified Professor of Mathematics to join our faculty team. As a Professor of Mathematics, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of mathematics courses, including Contemporary Mathematics, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Finite Math, Business Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics courses to students at the college level
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals
- Stay current with developments in mathematics education and incorporate best practices into teaching
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Mathematics or Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics required
- Credit in undergraduate mathematics through Differential Equations or Calculus III
- Some related teaching experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified to teach traditional, online, and dual credit courses
- Demonstrate a high level of verbal and writing skills, as well as computational skills
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule. The incumbent will be required to work on campus and may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
