Donation Sorter

At Alabama Goodwill Industries, we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Processor to join our team.

This role is responsible for processing and sorting donations, ensuring they are properly categorized and prepared for resale.

As a Donation Processor, you will be the first point of contact for donors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process donations, sorting them into designated categories.
• Issue donation receipts and provide excellent customer service to donors.
• Work collaboratively with the store team to maintain a clean and safe processing area.
• Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring donations are processed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
