Job Summary
As a Dishware Specialist at Historic Star Lounge / Hyatt House Hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary dishes for both staff and guests. Your duties will also include assisting with staff meal and cleanliness of other areas assigned.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Maintain the dish machine to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of dishes.
  • Properly use chemicals and store them in designated areas.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, coolers, freezer, cafeteria storerooms, walls, and floors.
  • Ensure all food and chemicals are stored properly upon delivery.
  • Supply the line, pastry, and restaurant with necessary service ware for the day.
  • Be proactive in your work and stay busy at all times.
  • Sweep and mop floors as needed.
  • Remove trash when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cafeteria, ensuring adequate dishes, silverware, and cups for meals.
  • Develop a positive working relationship with Amangiri staff, management, and guests.
  • Label and date products pulled from the cafeteria and store items properly at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure a clean, neat, and organized workspace.
  • Maintain open communication with staff and guests.
  • Take ownership of the cafeteria's cleanliness and organization.
  • Conduct yourself professionally and encourage others to do the same.
  • Be flexible with your schedule and willing to work holidays.
  • Organize coolers before the end of each shift.
  • Familiarize yourself with the employee handbook and adhere to its guidelines.

About You
This position requires sustained physical activity throughout each work shift. Essential tasks include standing, walking, bending, lifting heavy loads, sitting, twisting, and more for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Oral proficiency in English.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
