We are seeking a Per diem Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician to join our team at North Shore Gastroenterology Associates in Great Neck, NY.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Practice Administrator/Senior Endo Technician, the Medical Assistant Endoscopy Technician will work with assigned physicians to care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Care for patients post-procedure, including monitoring for any adverse reactions to sedation.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • One year of related clinical experience, preferably in OR and/or Endoscopy settings.
