We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Perdue Foods in Milford, DE. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance execution, reliability, and engineering teams to ensure effective work plans and efficient resource allocation.
- Manage the parts room and parts room associates, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure safety and work process considerations are incorporated into job plans.
- Oversee and manage the maintenance planning and scheduling process, ensuring accuracy and validity of information in the Maximo CMMS system.
- College degree or equivalent experience in maintenance or a related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Specialized training or education in maintenance is preferred.
The Maintenance Planner will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures ranging from 28°F to 100°F, and noise levels up to 110 dB. The position requires the ability to move light equipment and supplies, access files and equipment, and wear protective gear as needed.
