Maintenance Technician Job Summary

Elevation Property Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of our properties meet our high standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical and mechanical work to diagnose and repair issues with buildings, equipment, and appliances.
  • Complete assigned work orders and routine upkeep tasks to maintain the property's appearance and functionality.
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as trash removal, pressure washing, and general cleaning.
  • Support cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts, practicing efficient use of materials and supplies, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to resident requests, answering questions, and completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and reliable transportation.
  • HVAC Certification required (CFC Universal), with training in at least one additional specialty.
