WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 12pm-9pm or Tuesday-Saturday 8am-5pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with clients to create and execute a personalized treatment plan within 24 hours of admission.
- Formulate individualized treatment strategies based on thorough assessments.
- Conduct weekly reviews of treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling services as per the therapeutic schedule and treatment plan.
- Engage daily with detox clients as appropriate.
- Serve as a rational authority and role model.
- Work alongside facility staff to ensure a safe recovery environment for clients.
- Complete client discharge summaries within 24 hours of program exit.
- Accurately prepare and submit necessary referral reports.
- Monitor authorization lengths by reviewing in Welligent and communicating with Insurance/Billing, updating treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and meets the standards for appropriate care levels according to clinical, funding, and billing requirements.
- Maintain legibility and compliance in clinical records.

Collaborate closely with management to uphold Cenikor's core principles and foster a positive work atmosphere for all team members.

Adhere to federal and state regulations as well as Cenikor's policies and procedures. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client and organizational matters, referring any concerns to your supervisor. Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the exempt functions outlined in this job description.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Strong clinical documentation capabilities.
- Experienced in providing educational and therapeutic counseling for individuals and groups.
- Knowledgeable in identifying suitable resources for client development and delivering substance abuse counseling.
- Ability to discern facts from opinions and remain objective amidst conflicting views.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Patience, perseverance, and resilience are essential in this demanding environment.
- Professional and positive demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Outlook calendar.

Education:
- Associate's degree required
- Master's degree preferred

Experience:
- Preferred two (2) years of experience in substance abuse treatment
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
- Insurance experience required

Licensure:
- LCDC, LPC, or LCSW preferred
