Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
  • Plan and review logistics processes to meet company standards and customer service specifications
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business objectives
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure seamless operations
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, coach, and counsel staff
  • Cultivate a positive team environment through Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Perform performance evaluations and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process
  • Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations
  • Implement health and safety initiatives and adhere to company policies
Requirements
  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • 1+ year experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred
  • 0-1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required
