We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Select Medical Corporation. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various patient care services, including bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care.
  • Respond to patient needs in a timely manner, ensuring the physical well-being of patients.
  • Participate in hourly rounds to assess patient needs and provide updates.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment centers, assisting transporters as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment, including bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
  • Ensure patient rooms are clean and orderly, including making beds.
  • Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years).
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student.
