Dietitian Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team as a contract consultant. The successful candidate will work with skilled nursing facilities and/or behavioral health, improving the lives of seniors and providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete MDS assessments, Section K, CAA, to ensure residents receive optimal nutrition support.
• Document residents at high risk for nutritional problems, collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop effective care plans.
• Participate in the care planning process, ensuring seamless integration of nutrition services into resident care.
• Provide oversight to the food service department, conducting routine audits to ensure safety, sanitation, and quality of food.

Qualifications:

• Hold Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials.
• Maintain state licensure (if required).
• Two years of consulting or long-term care experience preferred; however, we consider a range of factors when evaluating candidates.
