Job Summary

The Environmental Service Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients. This includes cleaning patient care areas, stocking linens and supplies, transporting trash and linen, and providing general support to the patient care unit.

Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness of patient care areas must meet established procedures, sanitation protocols, and quality standards.
  • Execute checkout room cleaning according to department guidelines and dispose of hazardous and infectious waste as required.
  • Perform morning and evening patient room rounds, removing clutter, emptying trash, and refreshing bathrooms.
  • Respond to patient service requests for housekeeping services and hospitality support.
  • Clean common area space and waiting areas on the patient care unit and stock linen and housekeeping supplies.
  • Operate equipment, maintain cleanliness, and perform preventative maintenance as assigned.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental services or a related field and possess a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
