We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Ink Maker/Ink Tech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our ink manufacturing process.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks
  • Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
  • Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed
  • Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
  • Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
  • Making QC adjustments as instructed
  • Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink
  • Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink
  • Packaging the finished product
  • Operating a forklift

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic math, communications and mechanical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs
