Overview

Westchester Jewish Community Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinician to join our team at the Trager Lemp Center. As a member of our trauma team, you will have the opportunity to provide vital services to community members affected by trauma and/or crime.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct service in various therapeutic modalities, including ongoing cases, crises, and intake.
  • Conduct all recording and statistical procedures required by the agency, including case records, monthly statistical sheets, schedules, surveys, etc.
  • Maintain necessary patient-related contacts with other agencies and resources, including written material, telephone contact, and personal visits as necessary.
  • Supervise staff or students when required.
  • Collaborate with outside service providers as needed.
  • Provide emergency and general clinical coverage for the respective TLC office/clinic.
Requirements
  • MSW and a valid license to practice Social Work in the State of New York. LMHC's are also encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and may be required for some positions.
  • Thorough knowledge of modern social work principles and therapeutic techniques for individuals and families affected by sexual abuse and family violence.
  • Knowledge of Netsmart is a plus.
