Clinical Supervisor

Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.
Responsibilities- Assess and report on departmental operations to ensure continuity of care and communicate effectively with management and administration.
- Monitor and intervene in unusual occurrences or complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Oversee the nursing department's performance of patient care, prioritizing patient safety and minimizing medical/healthcare errors.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation, including medical necessity, in patient records and monitor completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
- Provide education and training on Functional Independent Measure (FIM) and ensure timely and accurate FIM assessments and scoring.
- Enforce compliance with education/in-service requirements, orientation, and competencies within the nursing department.
- Review and evaluate risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction results, and outcomes to drive performance improvement and communicate findings to the nursing department.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Minimum of two years of previous nursing management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
