Job Title: Road Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Road Laborer to join our team at Primoris Heavy Civil in Golden Meadow, LA. As a Road Laborer, you will perform a variety of manual duties, including lifting heavy items in various weather conditions.

Job Summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is a leading provider of heavy civil construction services, and we are looking for a reliable and skilled Road Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks, working in a utility capacity, and assisting with various construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy items and working in various weather conditions.
  • Work in a utility capacity, transferring from one project to another or from one task to another.
  • Assist with various construction projects, including highway, port, airfield, rail, and marine construction.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations, and report any incidents or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Some industrial/construction/general labor experience.
  • Ability to pass a physical examination and meet the company's drug and alcohol abuse policy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
