About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Systems Design and Development Leader to join our team at American Honda Motor Co. in Santa Clarita, California.

Job Description

As an Electrical Systems Design and Development Leader, you will be responsible for providing direction to electrical systems design, development, and support for our programs. This includes overseeing software and hardware, control systems, and electrification activities at HRC, as well as initiating, specifying, monitoring, and directing electronics-related R&D projects at HRC partners and suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers on electrical systems design and development projects
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent management experience
  • At least 15 years of professional Autosport racing experience in direct electrical engineering hardware and software development
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $161,300-$252,000, depending on location, experience, and education. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for:
