About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bartender to join our team at the Hyatt House Dallas/Frisco. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests by providing genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized bar area, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Guide guests through the beverage menu, making recommendations and providing descriptive selling points.
• Accurately take orders, confirming special requests and ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of the bar's offerings, enhancing the guest experience through expert knowledge.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff to provide seamless service.
• Address guest concerns, guiding them to a resolution that leaves them satisfied.
• Present final bills accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring a positive conclusion to the guest's experience.
• Manage inventory, requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, and other essentials.
• Prepare and present drinks according to standard recipes, practicing portion control and maintaining product quality.
• Process orders at the point of sale, creating checks for each guest and ensuring accurate transactions.
• Secure the bar area, locking up and storing equipment, depositing cash drops, and maintaining a secure environment.
