Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Turkey Driver to join our team at Butterball. As a key member of our Live Operations department, you will be responsible for loading live turkeys onto trucks for transport to market without damaging the turkeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load turkeys onto trucks for transport to market without damaging the turkeys.
  • Operate front-end loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work at heights and climb a ladder or ramp.
  • Ability to work in a small area and regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs.

Working Conditions:

Work near moving mechanical parts, regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, frequently work in high, precarious places, and occasionally exposed to vibration. Work in a seasonally hot and warm environment and work with loud and noisy machinery.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
