Job Overview

The Internal Financial Auditor is tasked with evaluating financial risks through comprehensive analytical reviews.

Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Conduct scheduled audits.
  • Engage in continuous monitoring of critical risk areas.
  • Assist in scheduling financial audits based on analytical findings.
  • Contribute to the development of financial audit programs.
  • Execute testing as outlined in audit protocols.
  • Collaborate with key finance and IT management to document business processes and identify significant risk areas.
  • Generate and distribute audit reports to management.
  • Support financial and IT external auditors during their engagements.
  • Assist consultants and key finance team members during new system developments and business acquisitions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory accounting practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license required, with an obligation to adhere to company fleet policy.
  • Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements as dictated by the position and company safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Safeguard the security of company assets.
  • Utilize all company-provided resources and technology effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year institution is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification.
  • Additional relevant certifications for this role include Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal auditing practices, procedures, and principles.
  • Skilled in applying risk-based auditing standards, practices, techniques, and processes to audit performance and review.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and effective time management.
  • Proactive and innovative, with the capacity to listen and integrate diverse ideas, fostering partnerships and collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professional standards, integrity, and business ethics.
  • Ability to perform frequent standing, sitting, walking, and keyboard use.
