Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting occupational therapy evaluations, providing direct and indirect services, and collaborating with staff members to support motor development. If you have experience working in special education and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges related to fine and gross motor development.
  • Create individualized motor development plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group interventions to improve students' fine and gross motor skills.
  • Develop and implement sensory integration strategies for students with sensory needs.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and occupational therapists to support students with orthopedic needs.
  • Complete all essential paperwork to maintain strict adherence to district, state, and federal regulations.
  • Attend mandatory special education meetings, including IEP, evaluation, and post-evaluation meetings.
  • Participate in staff development training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the State of Oregon.
  • Experience working in special education.
  • Experience in completing required special education paperwork.
