We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for driving member service in your area by delivering high-quality bakery products that meet our members' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations. Communicate effectively with associates to provide excellent customer service and maintain in-stock levels.
- Be an Expert Baker: Plan and execute bakery productions to ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs. Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
- Be a Tech-Savvy Baker: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner of Quality: Drive the performance of the bakery area by ensuring quality and date control standards. Eliminate waste and prepare for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training. Develop, influence, and inspire associates to work in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team-oriented.
- Comply with Company Policies: Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
