Job Description

Marvel Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Marquette, MI. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans, taking into account patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • 2+ years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
