Behavior Specialist for Special Education

Seeking a dedicated professional to provide behavioral support and instructional assistance to students with emotional and other related behaviors in an assigned classroom or other learning environment. Key responsibilities include providing positive behavior interventions, instructional support strategies, and collecting and maintaining data on student behavior.


Requirements for this role include a combination of education and experience, with a minimum of two years of college coursework in psychology, child growth and development, and two years of experience working with children in an educational or organized learning environment. Additionally, candidates must meet the requirements specified under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Special qualification supported by Title I funds.

Schedule for this role includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
