Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including tire changes and fuel delivery.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services, including oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean and safe work areas.
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
