Key Responsibilities:
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will:
1. Operate MRI equipment under the guidance of a Radiologist to generate clinical diagnostic images.
2. Ensure patient safety and adherence to established protocols before and during procedures.
3. Utilize the PACS (Picture Archival System) to provide images for radiologist interpretation with minimal exceptions.
4. Accurately enter exam codes in the Radiology Information System and complete exams promptly.
5. Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor without delay.
6. Instruct and supervise radiography students during their clinical practicum.
7. Conduct additional duties as assigned, ensuring quality review of images aligns with departmental standards.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Technical Diploma from an AMA-approved Radiology or Imaging Services program.
- A valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License or Temporary Permit.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Advanced Certification in MRI within 180 days of hire or transfer.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or a related health field.
- Experience as an MRI technologist or relevant training.
