Job Overview

TradeCorp is seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our team in Alabama. This full-time position offers an attractive salary of $32.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime.

This role requires a strong background in electrical wiring, with experience in commercial/industrial/institutional settings. As a Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical duties, including reading blueprints, installing conduit and cable tray, and coordinating large cable pulls.

You will also be expected to install switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, fire alarm and control systems, and other electrical gear. Additionally, you will perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits or moving/lifting heavy objects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and other technical documents.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical components, equipment, or systems.
  • Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools.
  • Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas.

Requirements

  • Speak, Read and Write English.
  • Journeymen and foremen with at least 5 years of experience in the position.
  • Must be available to work 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday at minimum.
  • PPE and own basic tools required for the trade.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good attitude and work well with others.
