Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers promptly and offer assistance with finding products, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and uses, to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Sales Promotion: Stay up-to-date on current promotions, discounts, and special offers to inform customers and drive sales.
  • Merchandising: Maintain a visually appealing store environment by efficiently organizing and restocking merchandise, ensuring optimal product presentation and availability.
  • Transaction Handling: Accurately process transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of the back stock room, set up attractive merchandise displays, and collaborate with team members to maintain a tidy and organized store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained and accurately accounted for.
  • Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous retail sales experience or a similar role is preferred, demonstrating effective communication skills and a history of engaging with customers.
  • Inventory Management Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures is essential for efficient and organized store operations.
  • Numerical Aptitude: Basic mathematical skills are required for handling transactions, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Sales Proficiency: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas indicates an ability to drive sales successfully.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities are crucial for building trust and rapport with customers and team members.
  • Adaptability: Comfort and efficiency in dynamic, high-energy settings are essential.
  • Team Collaboration: A preference for working collaboratively within a team environment is beneficial.
  • Professional Attributes: A positive attitude, dependable nature, and punctuality are critical for this role.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
