About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Geriatrician to join our team at Providence Medical Group - Northwest Washington. As a Geriatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to older adults, with a focus on preventing and managing chronic diseases, promoting healthy aging, and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to older adults, including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in geriatric medicine, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with a focus on Geriatrics
  • Completion of a Geriatric Medicine fellowship or 1 year of experience in long-term care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care
