Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital Texsan. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in obtaining and entering data into the Physiologic Monitoring System for accurate assessment of left and/or right-sided Hemodynamic pressure measurements.
  • Identify cardiac structures, coronary vasculature, and associated disease processes.
  • Practice radiation safety and observe all principles to ALARA.
  • Ensure that Angiographic and procedural data is properly archived for long-term storage.
  • Verify the presence of all components of procedure information in both hard copy and computerized formats.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • One year full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience or an Associate Degree or equivalent college hours in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science or higher.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • Must have one of the following certifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist).
