We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating silencers, primarily using carbon steel. Your tasks will include fitting shells together, attaching lifting supports/legs onto rolled plates, fitting and welding caps onto pipes, and fitting up flanges and nozzles onto materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate silencers using carbon steel
  • Fitting shells together
  • Attaching lifting supports/legs onto rolled plates
  • Fitting and welding caps onto pipes
  • Fitting up flanges and nozzles onto materials
  • Burning out holes, cleaning them, beveling, and squaring up
  • Performing light welding using MIG and flux techniques
  • Operating various fabrication machines such as presses, punches, saws, and torches as needed
Requirements
  • Proficiency in reading prints
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work 60+ hours a week
  • Comfort with working night shifts (6pm-6am, Monday-Saturday, Sundays as needed) and day shifts (6am-6pm, Monday-Saturday)
