Job Summary

The HazMat Industrial Services Operator Driver/Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various waste streams to generator sites. This role requires the ability to operate a range of equipment, including tanker trucks, roll-off containers, and vacuum trucks, while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate light and heavy equipment, including tanker trucks, roll-off containers, and vacuum trucks, to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
  • Respond to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours, ensuring a prompt and effective response.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle logs, manifests, and work orders.
  • Process hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining good housekeeping at the facility and on grounds, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as tanker trucks, vacuum trucks, and forklifts.
  • HazMat endorsement preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A valid Class A commercial driver's license.
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training or ability to pass course upon hire.
