We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team at Autism Learning Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about making a positive impact in their lives.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Technician, you will work directly with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts to provide therapy to children and families in need of support. Your responsibilities will include teaching communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles.

You will maintain active participation for the length of the session by engaging in play and keeping up with the energy of the child. This may involve squatting down, bending over, and playing on the floor. You will also accurately record treatment data on the child's program goals and ensure client safety.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED completed
  • At least 6 months of paid working experience with children, have been in a volunteer program with kids, or have ABA experience
  • A smartphone or similar device (e.g., iPad, tablet with internet services or laptop) capable of capturing client session data and tech-savviness
  • Exposure to individuals with Autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience is a plus
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding, which we will pay for
  • A reliable form of transportation including a valid driver's license and car insurance
  • The ability to keep up with active children and be enthusiastic and professional
Salary Estimate

Based on the location and the estimated number of hours worked, the salary for this role is approximately $22-$28 per hour, with opportunities for rapid career progression and additional earnings based on experience and qualifications.
