The Washington Center for Equitable Growth seeks a skilled Chief Economist to bring economic evidence to bear on policy debates. As a key member of our team, you will engage with academics and policymakers, support strategic content development, and serve as the organization's voice on economic issues.

Responsibilities
  1. Economic Analysis: Provide timely and insightful analysis on economic topics.
  2. Spokesperson: Represent the organization's views on economic issues and policy debates.
  3. Content Development: Contribute to our annual competitive grant program, commissioned research, and media outreach efforts.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone with:
  • An advanced degree in economics or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in economic policy or academia.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
