Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement flexible workforce strategies to recruit and hire skilled fabrication personnel.
  • Establish clear quality standards and implement robust Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
  • Develop supply chain and procurement operations to support the fabrication facility.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure efficient drawing management and anomaly correction.
  • Champion a culture of safety and excellence, adhering to Company HSE policies.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, identifying ways to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for facility assets.
  • Supervise fabrication shop personnel and daily operations, assigning tasks and ensuring materials are available.
  • Coordinate the proper utilization of third-party contractors and services.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of spare and replacement parts inventory.
  • Develop, manage, and report on all aspects of the facility budget.
  • Provide timely reports on shop projects with estimated completion times.
  • Evaluate and review shop personnel as required by company policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience in a fabrication facility, making heavy structural, piping, tanks, skids, and pressure vessels.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience over skilled and unskilled trade workers.
  • Previous experience reading fabrication drawings and ISOs.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to drive Company vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • Experience in relevant fabrication skilled trades.
  • Work experience operating under API Q1, API-4F, API-8C, and/or ASME standards.
