Overview:

The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based applications and solutions. This role involves collaborating with cloud service providers and utilizing various technologies to develop, test, and deploy software that meets organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and oversee cloud-based infrastructures and applications.
  • Guide the development of cloud-native applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in automation technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for effective infrastructure management.
  • Utilize scripting languages, including PowerShell, Python, or Bash, for various tasks.
  • Implement API gateways and manage service communication, ensuring smooth integration between different services. Familiarity with middleware technologies like DDS and MQTT is essential.
  • Experience in coding within Docker and ROS2 environments.
  • Design and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Support the definition of requirements for Azure and AWS architectural standards for cloud infrastructure.
  • Create container images and manage containerized applications, optimizing them for performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and implement customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance and security.
  • Understand and implement software changes using the .NET framework.
  • Review quality-related issues and suggest improvements.
  • Document and track issues throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing.
  • Possess a strong understanding of fundamental cloud architecture principles.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT, information security, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Azure & DevOps, socket programming, and other cloud services.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with AWS integration and pipeline configuration.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development using Python, C, .NET & .NET Core, C#, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and ReactJS.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in backend cloud software development and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Big Data and Data Science.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security practices.
  • Experience in network programming and management.
  • Familiarity with software changes using the .NET framework.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are advantageous.
