About the Role:

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our South Central and Southeast Oklahoma Chapter. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve our mission and vision in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and partners to advance our mission and goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality programs and services to the community.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure resources and support for our chapter.
  • Collaborate with regional and national teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Represent the American Red Cross in the community, promoting our brand and values.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Finance, or non-profit administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization.
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, community engagement, and team leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region and occasionally nationally.
