Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests to verify that systems and components are secure and functioning correctly
  • Identify systems or components that may have caused issues
  • Drive vehicles for testing and inspect and replenish fluid levels as needed
  • Ensure proper tire pressure, and clean and lubricate fittings as required
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues
  • Maintain high efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Proactively repair or replace worn components to prevent breakdowns
  • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools for various tasks
Qualifications
  • Thorough understanding of automotive systems and quick diagnostic skills
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
  • Experience operating electronic diagnostic tools
  • High School Diploma or GED (mandatory)
  • ASE Certification or Technical Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum one year of experience in a service department
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
