Job Summary

Origis Energy Technicians is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot solar power plants to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform daily mechanical and electrical inspections to identify and resolve issues
  • Document work orders, service orders, and time logs to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Manage inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Train and mentor laborers to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with safety and plant requirements through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 3 years of suitable employment experience
  • High aptitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and read electrical schematics
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
