Job Summary:

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optician to join our team of in-house optical experts. As an Optician, you will play a vital role in helping customers see by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our eyewear meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to understand their eyewear needs and provide personalized recommendations
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precision and accuracy
• Check that our finished eyewear meets our optical standards and customer requirements
• Use your expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with your team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless shopping experience

Requirements:

A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states)
Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries
A clear, effective, and professional communicator
Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and going above-and-beyond to make customers happy
