About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Health Support Specialist to join our team at Oregon Episcopal School.

This part-time (up to 16 hours a week) position comes with a competitive salary of $45,000 per year and one excellent meal daily in the Dining Hall.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills with students, families, and colleagues, and project a calm, reassuring demeanor. This role involves providing illness and injury management, communicating necessary information to school and parents/guardians while maintaining confidentiality, and responding to campus health emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage student health records and maintain accurate data in electronic student health management system
  • Collaborate with division assistants to ensure seamless health care services
  • Provide support for off-campus trips by maintaining first aid kits and providing medical care as needed
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • RN, EMT, WFR, or equivalent experience
  • Two years' experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
