Material Handler

Commercial Plastics Nebraska is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team on 3rd Shift at our manufacturing facility in Nebraska. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process by maintaining a constant supply of materials, colorants, and boxing to the production floor.

• Machine Operations: Tend injection molding machines by performing duties such as maintaining proper mix ratios, reading work orders, and preparing support equipment and raw materials.
• Production Support: Assist operators in machine operation, inspect and measure machined products, and record production and raw material usage accurately in inventory software.
• General Responsibilities: Participate in our Quality Management System, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and actively communicate with team members as needed.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Mechanical experience is required, and plastics processing experience is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; and ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
