Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Actalent in Springfield, Virginia. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory by collecting and processing blood samples for testing.

• Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Label and process specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve issues and improve workflow.

• 1-2 years of experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
